INAUGURATION FUNCTION


CMS College of Education is gearing up to mark an important milestone with the Inaugural Ceremony of the 18th Academic Batch of the B.Ed. Program along with the 2nd Batch of CMS Community College. The event is scheduled for 24th September 2025, Wednesday, at 10.00 a.m., and will be held in the Mahatma Gandhi Auditorium of the college. Organized jointly by the management, Principal, faculty, and student teachers, the program reflects the collective spirit and dedication of the institution. Dr. S. Sandhya Menon will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest and deliver the inaugural address, while Sri. K. Vijayakumar will preside over the function. The presence of eminent dignitaries, office bearers, and members of the management will further enhance the significance of the celebration.
The ceremony has been thoughtfully arranged in accordance with academic traditions and cultural heritage. It will commence with a prayer, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the vilakku symbolizing the illumination of knowledge. The program will continue with the welcome address, presidential address, introduction and honoring of the Chief Guest, the inaugural address, felicitation, staff introduction, and vote of thanks, concluding with the national anthem. This auspicious beginning signifies a new chapter in the academic journey of the fresh batches and highlights the institution’s firm commitment to excellence in teacher education. The event is expected to motivate and inspire the student teachers as they step forward into their professional careers.

The baby shower celebration for Aashma and Nithyasree, who have entered their beautiful 7th month of pregnancy, was a heartwarming and memorable event in our college. For the very first time, students came together to celebrate such a special occasion on campus. As part of the traditional ceremony, seven varieties of rice were lovingly prepared and kept before the soon-to-be mothers, symbolizing prosperity, health, and happiness. The ritual of feeding the mothers was carried out with joy and blessings, creating an atmosphere filled with affection and positivity. The celebration became even sweeter as delicious treats like jilebi and Melody candies were distributed to all the student teachers. AYAPPAN KOVIL VISIT CMS College of Education organized a spiritual visit to the sacred Ayyappan Temple with the participation of the Principal, teaching faculty, non-teaching staff, and student teachers. The visit was arranged to seek divine blessings and to strengthen unity among the entire college family. The serene atmosphere of the temple, filled with devotion and prayer, created a sense of peace and positivity. Everyone participated wholeheartedly in the darshan and pooja, making the occasion spiritually enriching and meaningful. The food served was provided directly by the temple as prasadam, which added a special significance to the visit. Sharing the blessed meal together reflected harmony, equality, and togetherness among all members. The visit to the Ayyappan Temple became a memorable experience, leaving everyone with grateful hearts and renewed spiritual energy.
